The Wonders of Technology

Today Andrew left for NJ to spend a week with his dad (boohoo) and although it's never easy for me to put him on a plane, the last few trips he has made have been less stressful for me. I always find myself worrying for the whole 5 hours he's inflight... alone... and completely in the hands of pilots who I don't know. But thanks to the Internet I don't have to "wonder" how the flight is progressing. I can simply log on and "see" his flight in real time. Right now he's about 90 minutes away from landing in Philly and his flight is at 33,000 ft. There's a whole lot of other stats that don't mean anything to me but seeing the little plane logo on the map gives me all the peace of mind that I need.

Me, Madison and the "Easta Bunny"

Madison insisted today that we take pictures of each other holding the Easter Bunny, so that's what we did.

The River

The boat in the river is moving fast
The boat's fishing lines are cast

The jumping fish are hungry and big
They are anxious to eat my bait of fig

The River has many trees
The River is only 32 degrees
