The downside to our "New Yawk" trip

Ok so my accent came back! This might sound like no big deal if you're from New Jersey or New York but every person and their brother will point it out to you when you live on the west coast. We were only there for 4 days but that sucker comes back quickly-- haven't lived back east in nearly 8 years, but after 4 days in New York and I'm back on the plane with my Jersey girl accent. I now sound like Mary Kate Olsen (who I do think is cute but have you ever heard her "tawwwwwk"?) but I'm hoping to get back to my California quasi-Valley girl accent soon. I guess I will try to keep my mouth shut (difficult) until it passes. Like the flu that's going around, my east coast accent will probably go away on its own without medical intervention :)
